Inspirational leadership

I believe in creating an open and honest team culture, where everyone has a voice. For collaboration to happen, designers must share work in progress and get comfortable with working in the open. I lead by example, pushing myself and others to do bigger and better things.

I’ve built teams from scratch. Had business cases approved for team restructures and new roles. Managed a 70 person team with 3 levels of management. Set up a brand new function in an enterprise-level organisation. I lead design teams working across the spectrum of service design, user research, content design, visual design and interaction design. I’ve remained hands-on throughout, directing the approach and strategy while overseeing multiple streams of work.
